1. Accepting this agreement
By registering for, accessing, or using Roomie, you agree to this User Agreement and the Roomie Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Agreement.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or any higher minimum age required in your country, to use Roomie. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, the security of your email and password, and activity under your account. Do not share credentials, create an account for someone else without permission, or use another person's account.
3. The Roomie service
Roomie provides tools for discovering and hosting interest-led rooms, participating in conversations, exchanging messages, and using supported virtual Link features. Features may change, be unavailable in a region, or be limited for safety, technical, or legal reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, reach, engagement, or any particular connection.
4. Your content and our license
You keep ownership of content you submit. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for your photos, audio, text, product links, trademarks, and any people shown in the content.
For public profiles, public rooms, and public messages, you grant Roomie a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content in connection with Roomie. For drafts, private messages, and private settings, the license is limited to hosting, storing, securing, and providing the relevant feature. The license ends when content is removed, except where copies must be retained for safety, legal, dispute, or backup purposes.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Roomie to post or distribute illegal, fraudulent, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful content; infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights; impersonate a person or organization; harass, threaten, dox, or exploit another member; send spam, phishing, or malware; manipulate engagement; evade account restrictions; or interfere with the app, its security, or payment systems.
6. Messages, reports, and account status
Do not use private messages to scam, pressure, or mislead another member into payment or an unsafe transaction. Roomie may process messages and related metadata to deliver the service, investigate reports, prevent abuse, and comply with law. Use mute, block, and report tools when needed.
Roomie may use automated rules and user reports to identify content that may violate this Agreement. We may label, limit, hide, or remove content, restrict messaging or gifting, and suspend or disable accounts that violate this Agreement or create safety, fraud, or legal risk. We do not guarantee that every report will receive human review, an individual response, or a particular review time.
When you choose Delete account, Roomie immediately and permanently deletes your account and associated data, then signs you out. This deletion cannot be undone.
7. Links and in-app features
Links are virtual items for use inside Roomie. They are not money, a deposit, a security, or a promise of cash value. They cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred outside Roomie. On supported iOS devices, purchases are processed by Apple App Store billing. Prices, taxes, authorization, and refunds are governed by Apple's terms and policies. Roomie may correct duplicate, fraudulent, or failed credits.
Third-party links and services
Roomie may link to third-party services. We do not control or endorse third-party products, prices, policies, availability, or transactions. You use third-party services at your own risk and under their terms.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Roomie is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that user content, recommendations, promotions, or messages are accurate, safe, or reliable. Nothing in this Agreement excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Contact and Apple platform terms
Questions about this Agreement, privacy, accounts, or service may be sent to a79DdXN44z815@hotmail.com. If you access Roomie through Apple's platforms, Apple is not responsible for Roomie or its content, maintenance, or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement where permitted by Apple's platform rules.
